What you'll do

We’ll begin our Himalayan trekking adventure in Pokhara, Nepal’s second largest city by population, then we’ll drive to the town of Nayapul and hike five hours to the town of Ghandruk.
We'll trek from village to village, taking in views of famous peaks, exploring rhododendron and oak forests, passing terraced rice fields and natural hot springs until we reach Annapurna base camp at 4,130 meters (13,550 ft) elevation. Each night we'll stay in teahouse lodges along the route. Finally, we'll end our trekking journey back in Pokhara.

Your itinerary

  • Day 1

    Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk
    Drive 1.5 hours from Pokhara to Nayapul, trek 5 hours to the town of Ghandruk.
  • Day 2

    Trek 3 hours to Chhomrong
    Hike on a winding trail on a hillside from Ghandruk to Chhomrong.
  • Day 3

    Trek to Dovan
    Hike through untouched oak and rhododendron forest to the settlement of Dovan.
  • Day 4

    Trek to Machhapuchhre base bamp
    Hike to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (Fishtail base camp) and stay overnight.
  • Day 5

    Trek 2 hours to Annapurna base camp
    Hike to Annapurna base camp at an elevation of 4,130m (13,550ft) and visit glaciers.
  • Day 6

    Trek to Jhinuwa Hot Spring
    Hike to Chhomrong, then it’s a steep descent to the Jhinuwa natural hot springs.
  • Day 7

    Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara
    Hike to Nayapul, stopping for lunch at Kyumi village, then drive to Pokhara.

Where you'll be

We'll meet in Pokhara, the 2nd most populated city in Nepal, then drive to Nayapul where our trek will begin. After trekking to Annapurna base camp, we’ll trek back to Nayapul and return to Pokhara.
