What you'll do
If your day doesn't start well until you have a cup of coffee, what about knowing the process behind that cup?
Come with me to live a different experience, to see the beautiful coffee plantations of Jardín where you can learn about the process from the sowing to the roasting.
We'll visit the coffee co-op facilities for roasting process, and their warehouse to see how a farmer sells the coffee. Then we'll travel by jeep to the countryside to a traditional farm.
We’ll visit a coffee farm to see and learn the complete process of production of the coffee as a crop and raw product from the hands and voice of a farmer who lives and depends on the coffee as his main product and we'll enjoy a delicious typical lunch. You'll pick up coffee beans and experience how it's a regular day of a picker.
In this tour, we don't visit big farms in order to support the families that really live the coffee crop.
Your host
Paula
I'm a Graphic Designer... but some years ago I discovered the wonderful coffee culture in Jardín, my hometown. I started with the coffee by casualty, now I've learnt how to brew an excellent cup of coffee, how to better roasted it and all the process behind that cup. I love sharing this experience, it's a world full of smells, flavors and sensations where we surround ourselves with the simplicity of the people of the coffee farms of the region and the tranquility of their coffee plantations and mountains.
