My name is Ros, I’m an artist. For more than 10 years I have been making photos using 19th century technique called Wet Plate Collodion. This amazing photo technique have almast 200 years old. Wet Plate is a chemical process as much as it is a photographic process. It takes you back to the roots of the first recorded images. I take pictures using antique wood cameras with the bellows. By creating your own emulsion and making photo on glass, it makes each plate a unique piece of art.

An experience not to miss! Discovering the Ambrotype and Tintype processes was a revelation, and Ros makes it captivating. His studio is a hidden universe full of small surprises in the Nadrodrze area of Wroclaw. He shares stories and details about his practice of photography and painting with generosity and a communicative passion. Not to mention, leaving with an ambrotype portrait is a unique and beautiful touch.
