What you'll do

The meeting point will be the Kennedy Park in Miraflores then we will start the tour at one of Lima’s most emblematic local markets Mercado de Surquillo, where we will buy the necessary ingredients for our Ceviche and Pisco Sour experience. We will then head to my house in San Isidro, where will open my home kitchen where I will lead you in preparing your very own Ceviche. You will also learn to prepare Pisco Sour by yourself by exchanging experiences about these icons from the Peruvian culinary tradition. We will also have varied appetizers depending on the time of year.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru to a family from northern Peru, famous for its seafood, he has always been fascinated by ceviche, not only because it’s Peru’s signature dish, but also due to the varieties he has been able to discover throughout every major region of the country the coast, the Andes and the jungle. Then he moved to Los Angeles and later on to Sao Paulo, Brazil where he had to adapt the dish to incorporate local ingredients while keeping the culinary integrity of the dish intact. Lastly, he is also a pisco connoisseur learning to master the art of marrying the perfect Pisco Sour.

Where you'll be
