What you'll do
Upon arrival we'll get you set up with the equipment you need to be safe and comfortable. We'll then meet the horses and have a beginner riding lesson to get you comfortable walking, steering and stopping your horse, as well as how to ensure the safety and comfort of both you and the horse. When you're ready, I'll lead the group out of the farm and into the snow covered forests, hills and country trails around Hopi Hills farm. After about a half an hour ride (depending on the weather), taking in the tranquility and vistas, we'll head back and give the horses a basic groom. Once complete, we'll head to the farmhouse where we will serve you hot chocolate, coffee or hot sake to warm up and relax by the fireplace.
