What you'll do
I can make dates available by request so please feel free to message me about a specific time! First you'll tell me if you have any special requests/allergies/restrictions (if any). Ramen is so diverse, Japanese people have a favorite shop for each category and genre. When we meet up, we'll go straight to the first shop, and I'll talk about its specialty, and the types of ramen and soups they have and the recommended choice. Next, I'll help you get your order in (every shop is unique in this process), and slurp up! After we finish the first place, we'll head to the second shop by foot or by train (tickets not covered). As with the first shop, I'll brief you on the menu choices, and we'll stuff our stomachs with round two! I can give you tips on where else to go for noodles, what to see in Tokyo besides ramen, and ramen photography!
Born in Tokyo, and raised in the US, grew up in both countries. When I'd go back to the States as a kid, I'd try to explain ramen to my friends but they weren't really interested. This made me really passionate about showing off the best ramen shops to the world! I eat ramen 5 times/week on average. I have been helping my friend open up a new ramen shop in the US. I can communicate with the shop workers and owners in Japanese which is helpful to get the story on their best bowl as well as anything about allergies/food restrictions.

Where you'll be
We will go to two ramen shops, specifically selected by me. Obviously, these shops will not be chains that have gone overseas or are common throughout Tokyo. They will be shops that maybe more than half of the average Tokyo citizens will not know about.
Things to keep in mind
Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 3 guests ages 15 and up can attend. Guests should let me know of their food allergies, food/ingredients they absolutely don't like the taste or smell of. Ramen soup includes one or a combination of the following: pork, chicken, and fish.
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
I can make dates available by request, so please ask. I do not cover transportation expenses if we take a train to a second ramen shop (it'll be less than 200yen one way). Ramen shops are cash only.
Eat ramen like a Tokyo ramen nerd.
