About your host

I'm Odalys, a typical Cuban that loves culinary art. I was born in a small town of fishermen, so I was surrounded by fish and seafood almost my whole life. I moved to Havana where I live with my family, but I kept my roots and traditions, and it is all about fish and seafood. What we’ll do

I will first welcome you in my colonial home and will offer a refreshing drink to help you cool down. When all the guests have arrived, we'll move to the kitchen, my sanctuary. I will show you all the ingredients we usually use during the class and will give you alternatives in case you can't find them in your country. Then, you'll help me to slice the lobster, which will have been previously…

What else you should know

Please, inform in advance about any allergies or food restrictions you might have, we also have food options for vegans and vegetarians. If you want to book for a big group, we can make some changes to accommodate you.

What I’ll provide

Lunch and Dinner
During the class, I'll teach you to prepare lobster, shrimps or fish as a main dish, depending on what I can provide that day. We'll also have rice and beans, fried plantains, yucca, vegetable salad, and dessert. You can bring some wine to share.
Coffee, Juice, Soft drinks and Water
With dinner, you can have any drinks you want. I'll have for you bottled water, canned soda, natural juices, etc. By the end, we'll even have some Cuban coffee.
Entrance fee
You'll get free entrance to my rental house, a traditional Cuban colonial home.
Car
I will recommend you the best taxi agency in Havana to attend this experience and get you back home at the end. I have a partnership with them, so they have all my information updated. They only accept payments in advance via PayPal.
Safety equipment
I will provide the ingredients, accessories, and tools for the cooking class.
