Mark is our Mountain Bike Instructor. He holds one of the highest instructional qualifications available, the Level 3 Mountainous Terrain Leader and has many years of experience, riding and instructing all over the country. What we’ll do

Mountain Bike Experience! We will start the day with a coffee and a chat to discuss your aims and goals and to help your instructor understand your current ability levels. If you have hired bikes we will then go and collect them before running through our pre ride checks. It may be cold and wet so please dress appropriately and take warm clothes and waterproofs. Rain WILL NOT stop play - your activity will take place regardless of the weather so be prepared.

What I’ll provide

Your guide will carry a first aid kit and emergency equipment.

What to bring

Suitable mountain bike clothing
Waterproof jacket (and trousers if required)
Cycle helmet (provided with hire bikes)
Appropriate cycling footwear (it may be a bit muddy)
Warm clothing including hat and gloves
spare inner tube or puncture repair kit
sufficient food and water for the day
a rucsack to carry everything in
A mountain bike. Either bring your own or hire one. Guests are responsible for booking any hire bikes in advance to ensure availability on the day

Where you'll be

We will meet in the cafe at Whinlatter Forest Park. The rest of the day will be based in and around Whinlatter Forest park and its associated mountain bike trails

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 12 and up can attend. The only requirement is that you can ride a bicycle. You must have a suitable mountain bike for this activity. Either you can bring your own or hire one for the day. If you need to hire a bike, you must arrange…

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
