What you'll do

Contemporary Arts Workshop: 1. We will meet for a coffee/tea at our Gallery/Studio; SMOCK Bureau. 2. The class will begin with an in-depth discussion about the our ideas of Contemporary Art. A discussion on the history, technique and future of arts and creative practice. 3. Once we arrive at SMOCK, we will begin to show you the possibilities of our chosen medium. I will show you a variety of techniques and processes available. Paint, plaster, collage, sculpture, up-cycling, etc 4. We will all begin to brainstorm & design our artwork accordingly. 5. Once the design process is completed, we will begin to make! 1 hour of crafting will result in our final product. 6. A high quality photograph to document the work in a professional gallery setting will be available to you on our website. Any work created will be available to take home. 7. A small snack & a cup of tea will conclude our workshop. We will discuss difficulties and processes of what we made. Be prepared for intense discussion, collaboration and creative thinking. Wether you've never considered yourself as an artist or you have an established practice we can create something together.
