About your host

13 years ago I began Tiny Treks NW on the Eastside of Seattle. Tiny Treks teaches up to 120 students per week, 100% outdoors. Now, I can take you on a nature hike right here in Woodinville Wine Country. Begin in the morning and have plenty of time to go wine tasting in the afternoon. As an AIRBNB super host I know how to make the time fun and as an outdoor educator I know how to make the time…

What we’ll do

I will take you walking through the Northwest's Rainforest. We'll meet at the Redmond Watershed parking lot for an inspiring hike with binoculars and magnifying glasses in order to see up close the flora and the fauna. We will stop in the woods for warm tea and snacks. Learn the history, the special local trees and bushes that grow here. I have been leading groups on hikes on the Eastside…

What else you should know

Nature in the northwest is amazing. Come experience a local nature gem with the hiking locals.

What I’ll provide

Snacks
I will provide water and a healthy snack for the hike and outing. Plus a thermos with Hot tea for cold weather.

What to bring

Waterproof hiking shoes or boots. Weather appropriate clothing-probably waterproof jacket and layers to stay warm.

Where you'll be

Redmond Watershed is an important preserve for the local water. There are 800 acres in this now urban park. There is a 4.5 mile loop around the property passing streams, beaver ponds, thousands of Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar trees along with sword ferns, salal and oregon grape. In the summer find huckleberries and salmon berries to pick and eat. Contact me if you would like a shorter or longer hike.

Guest safety

Outdoor activities carry risks, and you may be exposed to dangerous situations as part of this experience. Make sure you can participate safely given your abilities and the conditions (such as location, weather, and equipment).

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests of all ages can attend. I have been leading outdoor activities for 13 years as a business and for my whole life for fun. We can make the experience however active you want it!

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
