What you'll do

I will teach you essential Korean expressions and conversation skills so that you can use them during your travel. We will start off with greeting expressions, such as hi, how are you, bye, thank you, sorry, and more. You'll also learn how to introduce yourself in Korean. We will go through basic conversation skills for ordering food and shopping, such as "what is this," "I want that," "please," and other helpful phrases. After practicing, you will then order at the cafe counter by yourself. Next, while we enjoy our fair trade coffee, I will give you some useful tips, including how to find directions and public transportation with useful local smartphone apps. I’ll also tell you some cultural tips for communicating with the locals. Don't worry if you don't have any knowledge of Korean. The lesson will be easy and fun with a relaxing atmosphere—and the word list you'll learn is really small. At the end of the class, I'll give you a handmade postcard with your name in Korean calligraphy as a souvenir. I’m sure this experience of learning Korean will help you mingle with locals and make your travel more enjoyable.
