What we’ll do

Although there is some room for flexibility in order to accommodate your schedule, a hike to Triund requires that we leave by late morning. We will set out from Dharamkot, near the Tushita Meditation Centre, and continue toward Gallu Devi Temple. What else you should know

This is a more strenuous walk than some expect. Please be sure it is medically advisable for you to trek over 15km at such altitudes. Be prepared for temperatures much lower than in town.

Where you'll be

This is a guided trek to Triund - a popular hike for tourists and locals alike! Getting to Triund requires physical endurance, and may not be for everyone. Nonetheless, those who are ready to take on the challenge will be rewarded with beautiful scenic views of the Himalayan foothills, as well as a first-hand glimpse of the natural beauty that exists just above McLeodganj. Known by some as the "crown jewel of Dharamshala," Triund sits at 2,850m.

Guest requirements

Up to 8 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Guests should be in good enough shape to complete the hike and have adequate clothing to endure the colder temperatures experienced at higher altitudes.
