What you'll do

You'll jump right into the feeding and care of our lambs and sheep, filling hay feeders, waterers, and checking mineral stations, and depending on the time of year, monitoring the newly born lambs. Be prepared to be active, and get a little dirty while caring for livestock.

Owner of Glendale Shepherd Sheep Dairy and Creamery, Lynn raises East Freisian and Lacaune dairy sheep and is the primary cheesemaker of their award winning sheep milk cheeses and yogurt.

Cheese and yogurt produced on the farm will be available for sampling.

Where you'll be

All of the activities take place on our 85 acre farm on Whidbey Island. We will visit feeder barns, the lamb barn, and pastures on the farm. We will sample the cheeses produced on the farm in the onsite farm store.

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 18 and up can attend. Guests should be comfortable around livestock.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

More tips

Be sure to dress warmly in the winter, and always be prepared for hay, straw, mud and manure. Dress in chore clothes and boots that you wont mind getting dirty.
