What you'll do

A truly Jamaican cultural story tour beginning at the famous Devon House with its rich history of centuries past, then on to the world famous Bob Marley Museum tracing the ascension of reggae music and the rastafarian who made that genre spread globally. Our next stop would be The National Gallery, archiving our famous artists depicting all the rich vibrant moods of the Jamaican art scene. The Trench Town Culture Yard Museum the roots of many Jamaican superstars, probably most notably, Bob Marley would be our final stop. The culture yard is a piece of history that was preserved in time. The tour gives an authentic feel of what it was like growing up in a Jamaican "government yard" in the 60s coming forward and highlight personalities that evolved from Trench Town.
There will also be a stop at our Heroes Park showcasing our National Heroes burial ground with war memorials & funerary monuments.

This rich experience for the day would leave the individual with a fulfilled cultural experience complimenting any Jamaican vacation.

As a Kingstonian I know all the cultural themed locations which house our heritage and historical background for visitors of social studies interest, or persons who wish to garner an in depth analysis of our unique jamaican roots . Showcasing the breadth from our musical backgrounds, to our master painters and craftsmen and women of differing eras. This would all be done within a day tour in a truly Jamaican story tour.

Being able to visit Kingston guided by a true pro, we booked on a Sunday so a lot of venues were closed, David gave us the choice to reschedule. Since we were flying the next day he make the best of it and made sure we had a good Kingston experience.

Our experience with David directly was great and the services were a great for the cost value. Nevertheless, we had another guide, Dave, for our tour which was disclosed to us in advance when booking the tour. He was initially friendly and accommodating as we decided to not partake in some tour stops that were an additional cost for us or discovered were not of our interest. My only unpleasurable experience with our guide was his assumption we were paying for his lunch. He order lunch with us then left out the restaurant for a smoke break when he returned we were finished eating and the party was settling to tap. He seem perplexed when the waitress gave him his tap and then went back to the car to get funds to pay. After this situation the tour seemed to be rushed. I do not credit the issue to the tour service but to the individual tour driver for our tour. I would recommend David's tour services as I believe his professionalism for the services he provide would not allow this issue to happen again. It was truly get value and better than being on a tour bus fully of people from around the world you don't know.

This experience was one of the bests I’ve ever had! David and his driver Dave, treated me really well and I felt safe around them. The tour was really fun and I’ve learn lots of Jamaican culture on it! I spend a day as a truly Jamaican, something I could never had done by myself. I also felt really free to ask any questions about the culture and would totally recommend this tour to anyone! Is a one in a lifetime experience!

The tour was well organized and amusing. David was very professional and engaged with his guests, which felt really nice. We got to experience and see many wonderful places in Kingston that we couldn't have seen on our own. All in all, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful day with David & David. We get in touch with Kingston in comfort and style ;) . Starting the tour in front of our accomendation we visited the Bob Marley Museum, Trench town cultural yard, the national gallery of Jamaica and the wonderful park of Devon's House. Ending in front of our accommodation. Super service. In the Jungle of Kingston we experienced the legend Bob Marley and other cultural and political important people of Jamaica in 8 hours. Easy and relaxed 8 hours for us as guests. And through David we get in touch with people who aren't mainly focused in tourism. Nice trip i can highly recommend.
