What you'll do

Plunge into a potter's world as soon as you arrive. First a guided tour of our exhition space, then a coffee moment to get acquainted with everybody before moving on to the studio where you'll choose the technique you want to explore. Whether you decide to work on the wheel, to coil or slab build , everything is to hand. Guided by our instructor, you'll realise your dream pot. The midday meal is served at the Auberge du Fel where you may have the chance to taste some of the local specialities as well as admire the splendid panorama of the Le Fel vineyards tumbling down the sides of the Lot valley. When the Auberge is closed, the pottery serves delicious home-made food. The afternoon are spent finishing what was started in the morning and then studying firing techniques.

Learn more about Léonor

Léonor

As an experienced professional potter, I have conceived my one-day course as an inspirational introduction to the adventure of ceramic art. As my studio is part of the astonishing Le Don du Fel European centre for contemporary ceramics, I freely use the ever-changing international exhibitions of the Galerie du Don to illustrate the themes my students wish to explore. The internationally renowned centre is situated in glorious countryside overlooking the valley of the Lot. I'm bilingual French/English. N'hésitez pas à venir réaliser votre rêve... (The person in charge of the course is Léonor Salanié. This activity is proposed at Le Don du Fel which is part of the village of Le Fel)
