We didn't meet with Rebecca, but with Aspasia who was also a great host. She had very in depth knowledge about the city, past and present.

We met with Aspassia. She is well educated and has family in Rethymon. She is well organized and answered our numerous questions. Aspassia is friendly and engaging, she related family stories pertaining to Rethymon and Crete. We had been to Rethymon before . However she gave us new insights and understandings as well as taking us to places we hadn’t seen before. There are several stops for coffee and goodies culminating in a delightful lunch and lively discussion. We had such a good time and left with a friend.

Our guide Kiki showed us many samples of the old town's eclectic architecture, we especially enjoyed the breaks for Greek coffee, lunch and ice cream.

It was a great experience. Aspassia explained the history and the stories behind the architectures with passion. We also tasted different Greek foods. I would highly recommend people to take this tour to better know the city and to have a great time with the locals.
