About your host, Suzette
Always a keen collector of natural history with an interest in preservation, I have worked in the field and taught taxidermy for over 10 years now. I pursue my craft with a fine art sensibility. I am also a vegetarian and work only animals that have not been killed for the purpose (ie - road kill, natural death, reptile food and pest control).
What we’ll do
Tea and taxidermy are two of the things for which the English are renowned worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to visit the studio of London’s leading taxidermist Suzette Field and create a quirky souvenir of your trip to London. Everything will be provided. All animals are ethically sourced and were not killed specifically for these workshops.
Who can come
Guests ages 13 and up can attend.
Notes
A selection of props will be provided though please feel free to bring something along if you have a specific idea on how you would like to mount or dress your stuffed creation.
Where we’ll be
All private classes take place in my artist's studio in a leafy street in Crouch End, North London. The closest tube stop is either Highgate or Finsbury Park.
