About your host

Hello, My name is Maciej. I am a High School teacher of English and a local tourist guide. After the Second World War my grandfather came to live in Pomerania. I am the third generation of Poles living in Pomerania. I became interested in the history of the region and of the people who had inhabited this land before my ancestors arrived here. What we’ll do

I offer a walking tour of the city as well as/or a van ride around the area. I can take my visitors to the cathedral and give a very detailed lecture which is going to include the history of the region and some aspects of the nations (minorities) that have lived in the area. I can also take the visitors to other sites like the town hall or the Museum of Polish Arms and give a detailed tour too. I…

What I’ll provide

Snacks and Other
My wife will prepare a traditional three course Polish meal which we will eat after the tour. We live next to the cathedral.. I can take you to a local snack bar while we are having a tour.
Drinks
We can visit some bars where local beer is served.
Tickets
I will take care of the entrance tickets.
Transport
I can pick you up from the airport. I can take you around in my spacious van (9 persons)
Equipment
Walking poles.

Where you'll be

The Cathedral The Town Hall The remains of the fortess We end the tour at my flat where we can sit comfortably and discuss the history and culture. We are going to eat a three course meal prepared by my wife. Only Polish specialities and seasonal vegetables as well as a selection of craft beers from the area. This is the ultimate experiance of slow food at its finest.

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 8 guests ages 8 and up can attend.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Alcohol

This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.
