What you'll do

You will join a small class of people at an outdoor gym to learn calisthenics exercises and skills. Classic calisthenics skills include Front Levers, Muscle-Ups and Handstands. The class starts with a warm-up in the form of light stretching or yoga (beginner), followed by some basic exercise drills to raise the heart rate, followed by calisthenics exercises and skill progressions. You will 100% be participating in the entire class at your specific level which will easily be determined on the day. Since most people are at beginner level, the flow, pace and progressions are manageable, fun and highly addicting! If you are at a higher level, I adjust the exercise difficulty to challenge you appropriately! I will be guiding you through every exercise and will leave you with "homework" for you to continue practicing on your own. My calisthenics classes are highly detailed, well-programed, educational and challenging.

I am a passionate and experienced athlete focusing on weight lifting, calisthenics, nutrition and wellness conditioning for over 15 years. I achieved top 10 in the NABBA physique category in 2016, completed the coursework of a US personal training course, currently run the Instagram pages @natural_bodybuilding_sa and @parkgymsa and I am the founder of ParkgymSA, a Johannesburg based fitness group since 2017. My new love is cali-building (using calisthenics to build an aesthetic physique). What I love even more is helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Music for vibes and motivation. Dancing allowed. Calisthenics equipment including paralettes, power-bands & push-up handles.

Where you'll be

The calisthenics class takes place at an outdoor park in Johannesburg. There is plenty of shade, equipment in excellent condition and enough space for many people to join in the class. It is a public space so you will most likely see people walking their dogs. The community is active in the mornings so the area is 100% safe.

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 18 and up can attend.

The class caters for all fitness levels, all you need to do is arrive! Once you have made your booking please send me a direct message indicating how many pull-ups you can do just as an indication.
