Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed the time. The berber market we visited was a great experience and a contrast to the markets of Marrakech because we were the only tourists on this truly local market.

Jamal gave a great tour that we definitely couldn’t have done ourselves. He was a very generous tour guide, buying us water with his own money and getting strawberries from the market for the group to eat. He also was able to secure good prices for his guests if they wanted to make a purchase at the market we went to. The hike isn’t very long or strenuous, so those that are concerned that they may not be able to physically handle it needn’t worry.
