About your host

I love sports and the outdoors. I have always ridden a bike since I was 5. I have competed on many levels in track and field, adventure racing, and road bike racing. I love showing people the waterfront trail by bike. I am also qualified to teach environmental education.

What we’ll do

The waterfront trail is a great way to explore the shores of Lake Ontario. Along the way, we will pass through parks and nature sanctuaries where many varieties of birds can be seen. The trail undulates so there are some hills to climb. The trip can be short or long. The greatest extent of the trail is to Scarborough to the west and Bowmanville harbour to the east.

What else you should know

Guests should be in fairly good physical shape and able to ride a bike. Guests will need to inform the leader of their ability level, any health restrictions, and any food allergies. Guests will be grouped on specific days by ability. Please bring a bike, helmet and water. I will provide snacks.
