What you'll do

Are you planning to visit Budapest’s most beautiful sights but you don’t know where to begin? You want a general tour but with a bit specific perspective? Then do a walking tour with me, after the sun goes down! All of the important sights are illuminated in Budapest during the night. The charming city lights will definitely seduce you! We start our tour at the middle of the Margaret bridge with a stunning view to the two sides of the Danube. From here the Parliament building, Buda Castle and Gellért hill is visible in the same time! We’re traveling to the Heroes square where we'll visit the mighty statues of Hungarian kings, and you can have an exceptional view about the illuminated Vajdahunyad Castle, further on the Széchenyi thermal bath. Heading back to the city center we’ll visit the world famous Opera House. Next to it, there is the Basilica, which can be visited from the inside too. We’ll walk through the Chain Bridge to have a close view to the Fischerman’s Bastion. We’ll end our tour with a hilltop view! At the top of Gellért hill, where the place provides an unique, memorable sight what’s surely unforgettable!

Mátyás

I'm a professional tour guide in love with my home city, Budapest. I’m also an archivist working in the City Archives of Budapest, so studying Budapest’s history is my fulltime job. Feeling comfortable in historical, architectural, political and cultural topics, but still remaining a laidback person. As a young man, I already discovered the alternative side of city, knowing what is really ‘in’ the city nowadays. I’m passionate about introducing my clients to all kind of wonders of the city. Based on my experience, I can adjust all of my tours to your interest, making sure all my tours become a pleasant memory.
