What you'll do
This is going to be a one-hour guided experience where you learn about our five llamas and four suri alpacas, our farm, our bamboo forest, see our treehouse and beautiful structures. Wait until you see our baby llama, Llyra.. All of our animals are rescues (except Sophie) and have gone from (in some cases neglect and abuse), to a loving environment in our Bamboo Forest. You will learn about these highly intelligent animals, their herd dynamics, individual personalities, get up close to them, pet them, and learn about non verbal communications, and quirks.
We will provide you with organic baby carrots and you'll get an opportunity to take selfies and group photos!
Other things to note
Please wear a mask. We will practice social distancing. Wear sensible shoes. We are a farm and oftentimes the ground is muddy. Be in a happy mood and ready to meet some really smart llamas and alpacas.

I’m the owner of Alpaca Treehouse in the Bamboo Forest and have operated this rescue urban farm utopia for eight years. I'm passionate about my sweet llamas, alpacas, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats and their care. My animals are rescues and they are spoiled, vibrant, lovely creatures. I think of the alpacas and llamas as land dolphins or the closest thing there is to a unicorn (especially Dali Llama).
We will tour our small urban farm, meet the herd, stroll the bamboo forest, view the treehouse, tour our reclaimed built Bamboo Barn, and view the honeybees (from a safe distance) and learn a little about the beautiful amazing lives of these super important pollinators. Educating guests about our sweet herd of llamas and alpacas is a privilege and honor!

Where you'll be
You will be on an urban farm in City of Atlanta surrounded by a small herd of llamas and alpacas. You’ll see our barn built of vintage and reclaimed house parts and stained glass and see our critically endangered chickens and ducks. We will walk through the magical bamboo forest and view the treehouse and our other outbuildings. If interested, we will look at the honeybee hives. We are in East Atlanta but you won't feel like you're in the City

This is really the sweetest and most endearing little location! Feeding the animals is so much fun, and the story about how this little farm came to be in music videos and tv productions is very interesting. You interact right with the family and it all feels very comforting and friendly. I definitely recommend it for an afternoon of a new experience.

Loved this so much we will definitely be going back and hopefully next time stay in the magical treehouse! Even with a group of 10, Kara made sure everyone had their time with the llamas/alpacas and also included everyone in on the conversation! Would highly recommend to anyone!

I booked this experience very last minute after my canoeing adventure was canceled and I'm happy it was. Having such a close experience with the lamas and alpacas was amazing and I learned alot about them. Not to mention how large the farm was. There was also lots of bamboo which always makes me happy. 😊
The host was very sweet and knowledgeable also!
