About your host

I am a person with a penchant for words, a flair for teaching, and a vision to see people come together through English language learning, travel, and exploring the city spaces we inhabit. I have been teaching English for eight years and have majored in English throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. I currently teach English to pre-university students and am eager to keep working…

What we’ll do

In this experience, you will learn English in an interactive, hands-on lesson while walking in the main streets of Valletta. You will meet your teacher at the entrance of Valletta's capital by the Triton fountain. The lesson may have up to 6 students. After introducing yourself to the group, the lesson is split into three parts. First, we will have a walking tour around Valletta's main city…

What I’ll provide

Snacks
The teacher will buy 'pastizzi', a traditional, local snack for the students during one of our lesson stops.
Water
The teacher will provide a 500ml bottle of water at the start of the lesson.

What to bring

Walking shoes and comfortable clothing.
A mobile phone to take photos.
A notebook or journal, and your favourite pen/pencil.
Sun cream

Where you'll be

Our lesson will take place in Malta's Capital City, Valletta. Valletta is a beautiful and historical city. Its small size makes it ideal for exploring on foot.
