What we’ll do

There will be 3 phases to this 3D printing experience: an introduction to 3D printing, a lunch break, and the printing of a souvenir for attendees to bring home with them. The 3D printing introduction will teach attendees the basics of 3D printing software such as Cura, TinkerCAD, and Meshmixer. I will discuss the various technicalities and techniques of 3D printing. What else you should know

Depending on the size of the 3D object, it could take more than the time of the Experience to finish printing. If this is the case, the objects can be picked up the next day or shipped.

Where you'll be

The main location of the experience will be at the Manchester Makerspace, which is in downtown Manchester. This space normally requires a membership, but the organization permits non-members to attend courses such as this souvenir-printing one. There are countless restaurants close by to the Makerpsace which will provide many lunch options for attendees.

Things to keep in mind

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 5 guests ages 14 and up can attend. Guests should have basic computer skills such as the ability to navigate the web and a computer interface.
