What you'll do

You will be equipped with a beekeeper's hat, if you wish and follow me to the beehives. We open one or more boxes together and you will see how such a colony lives and works. We will also try together honey or pollen that the bees have freshly produced on the honeycomb. In bad weather we look through a pane of glass into the colony of bees and try honey from a honeycomb I have taken before.

Learn more about Adelheid Maria Mary

Adelheid Maria Mary

Since 2008 I have several beehives together with my husband Jochen and have been a master beekeeper since 2015. Meanwhile we produce more than 1000 kg honey per year and are enthusiastic about the bees. The bees are fascinating beings. In small courses I now also train other young beekeepers, who deal with beekeeping and how they can properly market the good honey, which healthy bees produce in abundance. Bees are responsible for pollinating many foods and are very interesting creatures.

What's included

Food

Drinks
When it's hot, I'll provide soft drinks and water, when it's cooler we can make tea or coffee.

Where you'll be

We'll stay on my farm. There is also a possibility to freshen up or to rest.
