What you'll do

Live the history and mythology in Greece We welcome you to a time journey. We are travelling by car and in an hour we are arriving at the canal/isthmus of Corinth where we are going to admire a technological achievement of the end of 19th century with which Peloponnese was separated from the Greek mainland, making the peninsula an island. Then, we are going to see the ancient diolkos, the paved path on which ancient Greeks used to pull their ships from the beginning of 6th century BC in order to avoid the circumnavigation of Peloponnese.Afterwards, we are heading for the archaeological site of Nemea which we are going to reach after 30 minutes. According to mythology, a lion used to destroy the fields of the farmers here until the hero Hercules managed to kill it. We are leaving Nemea and we are heading Mycenes, the kingdom of the famous king Agamemnon who led the Greek forces against Troy. We are going to be there in 30 minutes. We are leaving Mycenes and we are heading for Nafplio which we are going to reach after 30 minutes. The picturesque city of Nafplio used to be the first capital city of the new born Greek state (1828-1833) .
