We will start at: Lions Head carpark on Signal hill road;

Witness beautiful scenery, nature at its best, with a description of everything that lies beneath you;
Have the chance to take stunning photographs and receive all the ''action shots'' I take as part of the experience so the memories will last forever;
Receive my personal knowledge regarding the diverse races, cultures and history of the Mother City;
View the beautiful sun rising or setting over the Atlantic seaboard.
We finish at the start point by the carpark (transport is offered)

I studied Sports Science in Lancashire, England. I then partied & travelled in my 20s. Entering my 30s I went back to college to study Tourism and Hospitality Management.
I am now in the stage of my life where I have settled down, started a family, and continued my love for the great outdoors.
I have been in Cape Town for ovrt 5 years working in the City's largest backpacker's hostel as the Travel Manager. I am fortunate enough to have Table Mountain as my back garden :o)

Phil was an excellent guide, he is very friendly, entertaining and professional.His communication was super efficient from booking the hike to us meeting him at the nature reserve. He made the experience of hiking up Lions Head a memorable one and motivated us to keep going every step of the way. He even provided us with yummy snacks when we made it up to the top and was even willing to take out pictures of us. I would definitely do another hike guided by Phil in the near further. I would highly recommend Phil if you plan on booking a guided hike.

We booked the tour with Phil the week before, but for the day we wanted to go the weather forecast was not good (cloudy with zero visibility). I contacted Phil and it was no problem for him to change the date for the next day. He picked us up at our apartment and we started the tour. He is a great guide and a very good motivator, always very friendly and positive. My wife and me are around 60 yrs old, so we could not do the hike in high speed. Without Phil we would never made it to the top. He knows all the paths around lion head and is an expert. It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed every moment. If you have moderate fitness i recommend to take this tour with the best guide available. Thank you Phil.

Nice experience with Philip! The hike is quite challenging if you're scared of heights (as I'm) but Philip made sure I felt comfortable and safe for the entire time. Getting up there was totally totally totally worth it. And yes, this is something you can do by yourself but I'd really avoid that. Hiking guides know what's the right path to follow, what time to go up and down and make sure you're safe. Philip also picked me up at my Airbnb for a small fee and he took several pictures during the entire hike. Thanks for hosting me!
