What you'll do

Turin presents itself, but I will accompany you in search of treasure in the richest and most fascinating flea market: Il Gran Balon. I will introduce you to the historical "merchants" of the place and the second-hand dealers who at the Gran Balon exhibit and sell their findings. Come with me to walk among the stalls that populate this market and I'll let you know the characters who made history. We will have breakfast in the café of Piazza Carlo Felice, one of the most elegant in Turin. I'll let you know what is really vintage and what is a reproduction instead. We will walk together having a privileged and unique point of view of the Gran Balon, the flea market and the most magical minor antiques in Italy.
Other things to note
- GTT tickets available at tre station
- I recommend comfortable shoes for walking

I am a lover of vintage for many years, and for this I love to visit the flea markets of Turin and surroundings. There are objects imbued with history and charm, you can meet people with anecdotes to tell. I have known the various fixed appointments that exist on the territory and the operators of the sector very well. Above all, I think that the sellers in the markets are living history books, ready to tell and share their knowledge and experience. Behind every object there is a man and inside and behind every man there is a fascinating story to listen and to savor

If you are interested in looking through a large general antiques market this is the perfect tour. Barbara shows participants the difference between real and ‘not so real’...
