What you'll do

Welcome to the wonderful world of Tillandsia! Air-plants are far more unique and complex than you might expect, in this workshop we will cover what an air-plant is and where they come from. We will learn a little bit about the entire epiphytic family, including bromeliads and stag-horn ferns. Next we can look at the varieties we have in the shop, and the difference between Xeric and Mesic types of air-plants. We will cover how to read what your plant needs from you, the light and water that it requires, and how to keep it at its healthiest and happiest. Then we will create a lovely little environment for them to stay in! We have lots of beautiful natural items in the shop for you to choose from. Understanding where tillandsia come from and their native environments will help us forge a suitable and attractive place for them to thrive. Lastly, we will extensively cover how to water and mist our air-plants, avoiding over or under-watering, and walk away with an airplant, a unique environment for it to grow in, and a plant care sheet for reference.
