The Rocks has a tale to tell that you won't hear on a sanitised official history tour. As a brutal penal colony it saw the inspiring resistance of convicts and Indigenous people to racism and imprisonment. - Wear sunscreen! Sydney's sun is notorious. - Wear walking shoes - while the walk isn't difficult, you don't want to be stuck wearing uncomfortable shoes. There are a few places with stairs but let me know if you have any difficulty climbing and I can adjust the route.

Where you'll be

Meet under the big tree at Campbell's Cove with views of gorgeous Sydney Harbour. We'll make our way through the busy part of the Rocks, towards the gorgeous Argyle Cut, the Sirius Building and the century-old residences of the Hungry Mile. Picnic at Dawes Point. Ending at the secretive whiskey bar, The Doss House.
