Lovely tour! We learned a bit about the culture and the spiritual relationship with the earth, which was a beautiful experience. Our guide told stories that were both very insightful and funny.

Great way to explore the park from a completely different perspective. Our guide was knowledgeable about the land and the plants and animals that inhabited it. We learned about his experience as a member of the First Nations and about the history of those people on the land. I honestly think everyone stands to learn so much from the hands-on education of this tour. Highly recommend!

This tour experience was amazing and unlike any other tour we've had! Our host, Alfonso, personalized the tour by welcoming us with a song on his handdrum. It was deeply powerful! He shared from his experience and we gained so much knowledge about the uses of and stewardship of the trees and land by the Indigenous peoples that were here. Alfonso graciously answered all of our questions and my only wish was that the tour was longer! Thank you!!

We had an unforgettable experience with our guide Alfonso. It’s hard to put into words what I gained from this, it was far beyond just knowledge. I recommend this with all my heart to anyone seeking to connect with nature, to grow in understanding of indigenous perspective and culture, to be a learner on how to take an active role in Reconciliation, to humbly share and to gain knowledge.

This tour was amazing! I really recommend this for anyone who wants to learn about the original uses of the land in Stanley park and its history, it was so interesting to hear it from someone who is so connected to the land and cares so much about the area. My guide was such an amazing storyteller and obviously cared so deeply for the park, which made the tour so much more personal. Thank you!!!!
