What you'll do

We will go to a special location where we can both workout and sightsee. We will learn fun, yet practical boxing or other martial arts techniques for both fitness and self defense purposes. We will also incorporate strength and conditioning exercises for general health, and teach some injury prevention movements as well. We will cover strength, cardio, mobility and any other goals you may have to help you have a healthy and happy experience. We not only want you to have an incredible workout experience, but we really want you to learn techniques and movements that you can use long after your experience, to help improve your life for long term benefits. We will meet at the legendary Gleason's Boxing Gym in Brooklyn to check out one of the most famous boxing gyms in the world. From there, we will walk just a few blocks down to the riverfront to do our exercising and check out the incredible Dumbo Park; amazing workout with some of the best views of New York City! We will then complete the tour with a cool down walk back to Manhattan over the famous Brooklyn Bridge, thus concluding our experience.

I am an elite fitness trainer and boxing coach in New York City. I'm a former Golden Gloves champion boxer and was the head coach of Ohio State University's college boxing team before moving to New York. I've worked at top boxing and fitness studios in Manhattan, world renowned MMA gyms in Thailand, and strength and conditioning camps in Denver. I've also worked in physical therapy studios and learned many injury prevention practices and rehabilitation techniques. I run an international fitness retreat company, GeoFit, and have a wide array of clients all over the world.

Hand wraps to keep. Boxing gloves to borrow. Any other necessary equipment to borrow.

Where you'll be

We will visit legendary Gleason's boxing gym, famous Dumbo Park for the best views of the city, and walk the incredible Brooklyn Bridge afterwards. These will not only be fun areas to workout, but also a great way to see and experience New York City like never before.
