What you'll do

My home port of Falmouth, Cornwall, is rich in history from pirates to the British Imperial Navy to avant garde and fine art. Join me to explore the shops, pubs, galleries, beaches, docks, restaurants and museums of this thriving, creative, outward-looking little harbour town. We'll visit the headland (complete with castle), the art school's sub tropical garden and local woods, beaches and rocks rich in edible wild plants.. I'll show you around my own favourite spots & help you find some of your own.

Zoe

I'm a writer/researcher, forager, artist and tour guide. With degrees in science and fine art, I've published widely including in magazines and peer-reviewed journals, and worked all over the world reporting, making films and helping people to make their own films as well. Now mostly making art and living a quieter life in Cornwall, I'm happy to show y'all around.

What's included

Food
Refreshments: Feel free to share your preference and I will do my best to accommodate.
Transport
I have a car for longer trips, if any of us aren't up to walking or if the weather is awful coming in off the sea.
Equipment
Can lend a brolly if it's wet (but not if it's so windy it'll fly off!)

Where you'll be

I'll show you around & introduce you to interesting locals.. Pendennis Headland with secret beaches, the Marina & Docks where friends live aboard, The Universities and the old Art School where I studied for my Masters in Fine Art & still have many friends. The little known ancient centre of learning at Glasney, the arthouse cinema where I had a show.. We could head off to the secrets of Tintagel, or the Lizard, or Porthkernow & Zennor.
