What we’ll do

The first stop will be the Hector Pieterson memorial,it tells the story of the June 16 uprising in Soweto,then we ride on the famous Vilakazi street,we visit Nelson Mandela house,we see Desmond Tutu house,we taste Soweto beer at Ubuntu Kraal,we have lunch, you get to try the Kota sandwich,we then cycle to the Orlando Towers which a land mark in Soweto,we also cycle past the lower class houses in…

What else you should know

It is safe to cycle in Soweto, the infrastructure is good the roads are tarred and there are traffic lights,most of the time we will be cycling on flat ground you will enjoy all the way.

Food
Soweto sandwich called 'kota' it's basically a quarter of bread with French fries and delicious meat or veggies.
Water
Sparkling or still water or any soda of your choice.
Bicycle
We use Tottem and other brands of bicycles that are 3 speed change.they are in a great condition and have breaks on the handles.
Outdoor gear
We provide helmets for each guest

Where you'll be

Hector Pieterson museum is place where we honour the students of 1976, Mandela museum is where the icon Nelson Mandela used to stay while he was Johannesburg, Ubuntu Kraal is a brewery where they brew the only commercial beer in Soweto,we also go to the shack where you can learn about the shebeen and traditional beer, Orlando Towers is an old power station which is now a place for fun.
