What you'll do

Connect with horses, nature and your inner self during an activity I call "Pasture Zen", guided meditation in the presence of horses. You will have a unique equine-assisted experience without horseback riding. We will be on my private 10-acre ranch with my personal horses. First, I will teach you the HeartMath Institute's heart lock-in technique and how it relates to horses. This will help prepare us to interact with the horses. Then you will be introduced to the horses up close where you will feel the magic of being in the range of the electromagnetic field of a horse's heart. I will explain a little about the phenomenon (equine assisted coherence) and you will have the opportunity to explore it. Next, we will walk to a spot in the pasture where you will feel the peaceful influence of our small herd of horses while they graze nearby and I will lead you to increased present moment awareness with a guided meditation while being grounded to the Earth. Finally, back at the barn cottage, I invite you to make notes about thoughts or feelings that came up for you during the experience. I will provide light refreshments, a bathroom and resources for further study of equine-assisted awareness, HeartMath, and meditation. You may walk the gently rolling dirt paths between the horse pastures of the ranch to reflect. *Custom dates/times by request*

Jenna

I am a lifelong horsewoman (40+years) who has been fortunate to live with horses in my backyard for the last 15 years. My husband and I left Los Angeles for a remote mountain ranch in 2003, where I began a spiritual journey that was intertwined with horses. In 2010 we relocated to Wildhaven Acres. We became Airbnb hosts and have greatly enjoyed hosting guests from all over the world since 2016. Often, guests request to interact with the horses and it inspired me to create a deeper experience. I am a HeartMath Institute certified Add Heart facilitator. I am also a constant student of present moment awareness techniques like those taught by Eckhart Tolle and others. My goal is to make meditation approchable and practical so you can use it in your daily life. *Custom dates and times available by request. Contact me for details*
