What you'll do

The experience begins, from downtown Seattle we head south toward Pioneer Square, where the city was founded, along the way I provide information/stories regarding certain architectural structures. Cruising thru Pioneer Square I explain a little history, then to Chinatown, where one of the most famous Chinese resided and is buried in Seattle next to his son. Now it is time for "Nihon Machi" aka Japantown, more visuals and history including first Japanese building in the city, which was the location of the book "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet". Out of the city we go, Lake Union close up views of sleepless in Seattle floating homes & house boats, then to University area, and past my favorite ma/pa coffee shop (sometimes we go in) to the Fremont Neighborhood where we see a giant "Troll" and the controversial "Vladimir Lenin" statue stands a corner. Now of the Ballard to the Locks where fresh & seawater meet and boats are lowered and raised by this smaller Panama Canal, oh did I say Salmon ladder, you can see them in summer. Queen Anne Neighborhood and Kerry Park viewpoint, Space Needle, Gates Foundation, MOPOP, and Grey's Anatomy hospital are next. And scene.

Earl

I moved to Seattle since 1986 while serving in the Air Force, I obtained a Bachelor's in Theater, and worked as a Hotel Concierge in Seattle for more than 10 years. I enjoyed telling people about the places and neighborhoods only people in Seattle knew about, so much so I wanted to show them personally. As a result 4 years ago I started Puget Sound Tours. A one person tour company along with my small bus named "Betsy!" I am a one man band, but being small insures everyone has a great time experiencing aspects of Seattle you can't see with a big tour company.
