What you'll do

Will meet you the big squares next to the kasaba and 9:30 am to take our advantage of the sun and good weather. We will go by private car (When the reservation for1 person the transport is by shared ) to the beginning of the road where we will start the fantastic route to the waterfalls of Akchour. We will make a mountain route through the Akchour canyon, bypassing the river and enjoying the spectacular views. We will stop at the two largest waterfalls of the Camnio, where we will have a snack to continue with the route.
Approximately 5 hours of route in full nature. We will enjoy the transparent waters of the river and waterfalls, stop for a Moroccan tea in the middle of the river, where we can put our feet in the water.
The trekking is of a medium level, where children can also participate.
After spending the morning surrounded by nature we will return to the starting point, where the car will wait for us. As an optional part you can stop to eat at a restaurant near the river, surrounded by nature.

I am in love with life and my country, I am willing to change the image of the world of Morocco.
When I was 17 I worked in my grandfather's restaurant, and when I finished my shift I went with foreign clients to show them the most beautiful corners of my city, I always liked to share my time with people from other countries and exchange our culture.
When I was already fluent in English and Spanish, I decided to devote myself to tourism and pass on to all the visitors of Chefchaouen the love I felt for my city.
I am fun, very helpful and spontaneous. I love photography and show my culture.

Where you'll be

We will trek through the mountains near Chefchaouen, about 25 minutes by car. Route that we will make until we reach the beginning of the route.
The trekking is a journey of about 4-5 hours through the Akchour canyon, along a path near the river. We will stop several times and admire the great waterfalls. We will pass by wooden bridges and unique viewpoints.
Fantastic places for photography, and hopefully admire the wildlife of the area.

I went with Mohssin’s brother Hamsa who was an excellent guide. The hike was beautiful, easy, and a great getaway to nature. I learned a lot about Hamsa, his family and the community along the hike and had a great time. The falls are beautiful but there were some other great views along the way too. If you’re travelling to Chefchaouen you shouldn’t miss this trip.

amazing tour! Mouhsin is a fantastic guide! A wonderful experience with very good people. I really had a great time with the two brothers, Hamssa and Mouhsin. All very well organized. The mountain route is very beautiful and worth doing, I recommend this experience and go with a guide, since they know the way. Highly recommended

A perfect host! I made the route to the mountain with Hamza, a very nice and friendly boy! We laugh a lot and share many stories. He has everything very well organized and was very punctual. We took many photos in unique places, Hamza is always attentive to us. He gave us an opening and we took several breaks during the route. A highly recommended experience and a unique landscape. Thank you very much, we took a friend from Morocco.

We took the hike with Mohssin’s brother Ali. He was a great guide and definitely made us feel safe - he kindly redirected others lost on the trail. There was a slight language barrier for English, which made it difficult to share stories or ask a lot about the area, but Ali explained as much as he could and we were very grateful! Everything was taken care of on the experience, including some snacks, tea at the end of the trail, and transport to and from the trailhead making it a lot easier than if we had tried to do it on our own.

Pros: Ali (Mohssin's brother) is very friendly and had lots of water and snacks for the hike. You will go to two different locations in the Akchour region. Cons: Ali was an hour late keeting me and blamed me by saying he was late because I was early? Also, the profile says he has a private 4x4 and he doesn't. You'll take a shared taxi like many people. This isn't the end of the world, but just not what was advertised. Overall it was a decent experience, but getting started was frustrating.

Chuliko's younger brother, Hamza, actually took me on the trek. He was a marvelous guide and protector (I'm not an experienced hiker) and helped me along, always keeping an eye on me, gently assisting me when I needed some help, and showing me techniques to improve my hiking skills. He never lost his patience! I had told him the trek was a birthday present to myself; he actually provided a lovely birthday pastry along the way and sang "Happy Birthday" to me in Arabic! Hamza was so thoughtful. We talked and told stories the entire six hours of the trek. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful day. Of course I was exhausted afterwards but I was so happy and felt I had learned so much about Hamza and the culture of Chefchaouen as well as exploring the beautiful waterfall and the amazing hike to it.
