A Fun Warm Passover Seder In Phila

Duration:5 hours total
Includes:Food, drinks, and equipment
Languages:Offered in English

About your host

Every year I host a large warm conservative Passover Seder. It is fun, and funny, warm and educational - full of stories and discussions and disagreements. The Food is great and mostly traditional - from Soup to Brisket to Kugel to and, of course, the actual Seder plate- maybe an egg cream even. It will be a great night - I have even written our own Haggadah. Be aware this is not a 1 hour…

What we’ll do

First of all, you will be welcomed by our family and friends and to our house filled with wonderful smells of cooking - you can come early and help cook if you like. My family are conservative Jews that go to temple maybe twice a year - honestly lately I stream the High Holy Days in our living - it's great. In this section I'm asked the order of this experience - well the word Seder actually…

What I’ll provide

All the usual Seder food you like and don't like from Gefilita Fish and Morror to Chicken soup
Good wine and Manishevitz of course
Pillows and Yamuikas will be provided.

What to bring

You each must bring a good joke - does not have be Passover oriented - extra points for chicken jokes.
Also, we all come up with a new plague - they usually revolve around some comedical idea or against some politician.

Where you'll be

Our house is big and full of art but we will primarily be in the kitchen and dining room naturally for this - except when you need to find the Afikomen. This is located in Bala Cynwyd which is about a 10-15 minute cab/uber ride from downtown Philadelphia.
