What you'll do
Once in Pilar, guests will arrive at our stables, be supplied with riding materials which include safety hats, chaps and boots if necessary. We will then explain the rules of horse riding thoroughly before the guest mounts the horse to ensure safety at all times. Before the ride the guest will be evaluated for their level of competence and a horse will be provided to suit their level. Hacks last for approximately 1hour and 1/2 out in the surrounding rural fields and woods

This is a MUST BOOK experience :) Cannot recommend enough! I've done a number of horseback riding experiences in different countries and none quite compared to this one. Alexandra and her team are extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they do. The horses are clearly so loved, well looked after, and perfectly trained. Overall, this was the highlight of my trip to BA. I left feeling like I'd gained an improved skill set, an increase in knowledge re: the area, polo, wildlife, etc., and most importantly new friends! You will not be disappointed.

I don't even know where to begin. We wanted to do a last minute activity because our plane was late that night. Alexandra was nice enough to let me book the night before. I ended up messing up the location and was an hour late and she still accommodated for us. I have been ridding horses all my life and I could not believe how well these horses were taken care of and how well trained they were. I did not know I would be at a Polo barn, yet alone ride a polo horse. The guide was very safe and friendly and my boyfriend who had never ridden absolutely loved it because the attention and instruction he got, He tried to even canter at the end, because this experience made him feel that much more comfortable. The price is completely affordable and I had the time of my life. I really needed that. I was able to run down the long strip of grass they had and my whole week was made. Don't second guess this at all! Definitely do it! I will be back!

When we came to Pilar we were taken good care of by the hosts, Juan, who came to meet us by the road in to the stabels, and Alexandra, who made us feel like friends visiting their estate. We were impressed by the beautiful stables, the nice horses and the proffessional horsemanship that Argentina is well known for outside the borders. We had a nice ride through flat landscape with green grass and dirt roads, farms, stables, and acres. The beautiful horses are very well taken care of and fun to ride. We were invited to see their newly refurbished estate as well and see the stylish guest rooms that is possible to rent. Everything is very tasteful and creative with a rustic countryside feeling . This experience we would not be without. Hospitality is a keyword here <3
