What you'll do

We will start in the church of Las Mercedes, then we will go to Desiree Cepeda where we will talk about the history of local crafts, we will walk through one of the oldest streets of the Colonial Zone where we can learn a little about the vernacular architecture, and then walk through the Ruins of the Monastery of San Francisco, from there we will arrive to Santa Barbara to know a little about the Dominican street art. In the 2nd stage of our tour we will go to the Plaza de España to have a view of the Ozama River and talk about the main buildings erected there, we will go down to the Casa de los Dulces where we will stop and get to know the local desserts. We will pass through the ruins of the San Nicolás de Bari Hospital (a magical place to take pictures). And down the street Salome Ureña we will arrive at the pedestrian street El Conde to have a coffee at La Cafetera (a gathering place with more than 100 years of history). In the 3rd stage we will know the contemporary Dominican art in Bolós and then we will know 2 alleys full of history (Callejón de Regina and Macorís). We will end the tour at the Archbishop Portes, a street full of history in colonial architecture.
