This experience is designed to be as authentic as possible and integrate you for 1 day with Berber culture and celebrate and pass on the amazing Berber food and cooking. We make CousCous and don't do the usual tourist Camel rides! #CousCousNotCamelRides Itinerary Pickup 8am from your Marakech hotel/accommodation Visit Women's Argan Oil Cooperative. An initiative by Moroccan Government to help Berber women in difficult situations by giving them a job in producing Argan Oil (Known as "Morocco's Gold"). (This is a genuine authentic cooperative which has really helped Berber women, not a set up for tourists! You can buy Argan Oil if you wish but you will not be pushed to buy) Breakfast at Women's Argan Oil Cooperative (included at no extra cost), which will, of course, feature fresh baked bread to dip in the freshly produced Argan Oil. Short Walk exploring Berber Villages, viewpoints, and architecture. Cooking class in local Berber house learning to cook Moroccan dishes using locally sourced ingredients (all ingredients and equipment provided) Lunch eating the works of your labour at Berber house (extra dishes also provided to give you a full sample of Berber food, again all included at no extra cost) Dropoff Marakech 5pm

Hi, I'm John and I am a regular trekker and visitor to the stunning Atlas Mountains near Marrakech. I work with Omar, a friend and local Berber guide to run unique experiences for guests. Hi, I'm Omar. I grew up in Armed, a village in the Imlil area of the Atlas Mountains. I have over seven years experience as a guide in the Atlas Mountains, I am a graduate from Marrakesh University where I studied English and consequently can speak good conversational English. Together we have worked up a unique experience for you to truly experience Berber culture
