Spain is the third country I have lived in. I fell in love with Galicia when I finished the Camino de Santiago. After the experience I decided to give up my corporate life in London and move to this magical place. Here, I'm an English teacher and in my free time I'm doing personalized tours, like visiting a new city with a friend. I love to explore nature, the gastronomy scene and learning about this amazing culture. I'd love to learn more about my guests too as we eat and explore. Galicia offers so many beautiful things to travellers from wild nature, fresh and delectable food, an enduring history with enchanting sights and of course the more rural areas full of kind and authentic people like abuelas con grelos ☺.

Sehr schöne und informative Tour. Malinga spricht sehr gutes Englisch und war immer gut zu verstehen. Kann die Tour mit Malina nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Malina was a pleasant and positive tour guide and offered a number of recommendations and insights into the old city and its cuisine. I think this tour may be better suited for someone who has never been to Galicia before, or who doesn’t feel confident exploring the cuisine on their own.

We booked a food tour with Malina on our first day in Santiago. It was a rainy day and the old town felt too empty and gloomy but this tour cheered us up. Malina is a humble and sincere person who adores this city and that makes this tour so authentic. We first bought some cookies from a nun in a monastery . Something that we would never do ourselves! And then she took us to two amazing tapas places (again places that you couldn’t find as a tourist on your own!) . She also gave us so many recommendations for our road trips and we explored all of them! The experience was beyond our expectations and made us discover many hidden gems in a new city.

Malina’s tour was a great experience to have while traveling in Santiago. We tried a bunch of different tapas and foods, and she recommended me many wonderful places to go on my own as well. She was knowledgeable about the city and the food, and her recommendations were excellent.

Malina was very knowledgeable and gave us the inside scoop on eating in Santiago de Compostela. The nun cookies were the best! Would highly recommend her for other visitors to Santiago!
