What you'll do

Nothing reflects Barcelona better than vermouth. What are you waiting for to make your own? From KamideDeus we teach you everything you need to make your own vermouth. In this course you will learn how to make your own vermouth in an optimal way and to be able to enjoy this typical Spanish drink. In pairs we will make 750ml of vermouth which you can take home. Also after all the theoretical and practical part we will enter 2 bars in the Gothic neighborhood to try a good vermouth. Each KamideDeus course is divided into three blocks, one theoretical, one practical and one sensorial. In them we deepen in each one of the subjects of the course. Theoretical: We learn everything necessary to understand the fermented we are studying. History, culture, chemical and biological reactions of the fermented. Practice: We make between one to three recipes of the fermented we study. During the elaboration we will understand each one of the steps on each fermented and in what way we can improve in the future. Sensory: After the explanation and the elaboration of the fermented ones we will proceed to make a tasting of between 10 and 20 fermented products in question

In order to drink beer with his parents, Robert Ruiz Moreno started doing it at home when he was 15 years old. He was putting into practice what he had learned during his studies. Later he would study the higher degree of cooking in Barcelona. And he would pay for his studies working as a chef in different parts of the national territory. At the end of his studies he would work in gastronomic restaurants throughout Europe. France, Iceland, Sweden in gastronomic restaurants such as El BulliLab, Caelis, Gastro or Can Dani.

Located in the heart of the old town between the Liceu and Plaça Sant Jaume, KamideDeus offers introductory courses to the fermented and training for professionals, as well as ongoing consultancies for restaurants and cocktails producing unique products for their facilities. KamideDeus reinvents itself in a never-before-seen research project, being a pioneer in the sector and collaborating with the best national restaurants.
