What you'll do
Come feast on the classic Italian dish, Osso Buco, served over a bed of another classic Italian dish, Creamy Parmesan Polenta. Osso Buco is literally the “tail of the ox”. It is cooked to fall off the bone perfection. The center bone is the coupe de grace, a mouthful of creamy bone marrow, which is also the secret to creating an explosively rich sauce that is unforgettable. After our appetizers we will begin preparing a beef shank for the Osso Buco. We will then make the sides , a creamy, parmesan polenta plus a green salad , while the Osso Buco is cooking. The class will take place in my home on Mercer Island, an easy 10 minutes from downtown Seattle, 3 minutes off of the I 90 corridor.
