What you'll do

We will meet at Tenuta Mani Sagge in San Pietro di Feletto and I will tell you the story of the winery, a family passion for over 100 years.

We will see together the Pink House of XVII century and the ancient stables of the wine estate, where we are doing a great restoration. Right here we are creating the new underground winery, the shop, the wine bar with a breathtaking panoramic terrace overlooking the hills of Prosecco Superiore and five Agriturismo rooms.

We will take a walk along the most beautiful paths of the estate, discovering the ancient vineyards and the centenary vineyard. We will admire the UNESCO landscape from the top of the hill, where once there was a castle, with a 360-degree view. From here you will see the vineyards, the Castle of Conegliano and the Churches of Formeniga, San Pietro and Ogliano.

Then we will taste the different types of Prosecco Superiore DOCG of the company combined with typical local foods. Together we will discover all the characteristics of the wines, from the magnificent aromas to the production methods.

If you prefer to do the tour on a different day or if you have special needs, feel free to contact me!

La cantina è situata in un posto meraviglioso. Il padrone di casa è un vero giovane Signore, competente e amante del proprio lavoro e delle proprie origini. Ottimo il loro brut.

We spotaneously decided to book the tour and immediately received a confirmation by Marco. Luckily our group remained small and personal so we could ask hundreds of questions about Prosecco, Marco’s background and the place itself and not one ended unanswered. Marco‘s place is really nice: on the one hand historic (you will find out during the tour) and given his sustainable approach of Prosecco production ready for the future on the other hand. The tasting itself was informative with his different awesome Proseccos as THE highlight. We definitely recommend this tour for beginners as well as experts.

We loved our time at Marcos winery! The winery itself was gorgeous, with an amazing history, and delicious product! Marco himself was extremely personable, charismatic and passionate about winemaking. He has gone above and beyond to make this winery special, and it shows. All of that together made the overall experience wonderful. We hope to come back soon and visit again! Highly recommend this experience!

Marco is a tremendous guy, we loved his passion and vision, and the food and especially the Prosecco was delicious. We would have enjoyed our visit even more if we had spent more time in the vineyards, and if there had been an opportunity to see more of the actual process of winemaking. Instead, we spend quite a bit of time visiting a construction site (this surely will be a stunning tasting bar and hotel in the future). A brief tour of that would have been interesting, but it was way too long for us. Hopefully we can come back when it’s done!

This tour was a last-minute impulse that turned out to be a great decision. Marco's connection to the land and it's history makes him an informed and informative docent. And his vision for the future of his vineyards and winery affords an exciting glimpse of emerging modern Italy.
