What you'll do

In a small group, we will travel into the core of a wild wolf packs territory. We are hiking, to get to know the nature of the wolf habitat. Along the way, we will look for tracks from wolves and its prey. What can we find? What can we hear? What can we smell? What can we feel? In the beautiful area we are hiking, there lives a wolf family of 6 (parents and 4 pups born last year). They are wild and naturally afraid of humans. Most probably we will not see them, but it can happen if we are really lucky. Most probably they will see and smell us, but not show them selves for us. Information will be provided on the wolf's behavior and biology, use of its territory, the history of the wolf in Scandinavia, the relationship between wolfs and humans, and the wolf's social life, along the way. Please feel free to ask any questions about these wolfs, or wolf in general. Come and experience how it feels to walk in the forest with wild wolfs roaming in the same woodland. We will prepare a light meal out in the wild, and stop to take great photos in the beautiful wild Norwegian nature. Looking forward to give you an wildlife experience for life!
