What you'll do

We will meet in Canmore at the closest coffee house to your location 1 hour before sunrise, grab some to go items, and head out to photograph a Rocky Mountain sunrise of The Three Sisters, the Ehagay Nakoda & Rundle Ranges here in Canmore. Locations: Policeman's Creek secret spots - there are a number of hidden areas here, and afterwards visiting the Canmore Hoodoos. Once we finish exploring these locations here in Canmore we will hop in our cars and head into Banff National Park! There we will explore on foot the Johnson Lake area where I will show you a hidden cabin in the woods, an abandoned coal mine, and a rope swing with beautiful views throughout. There is a lot of local history to be found on such a short hike around this lake. This adventure is not on any normal Banff tour! When leaving Johnson Lake we will drive around the Minnewanka Loop looking out for any local wildlife - bighorn sheep, elk, grizzly and black bears are just some of the possiblities! To finish the tour we will stop at Vermilion Lakes and the Mt Norquay Lookout for some of the most iconic views of the Banff area before heading back to Canmore with a full memory card of photos!
