What you'll do

Come join Adventure Out for guided Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) tours and instructional clinics in the heart of San Francisco. Our tours depart from the recently renovated Mission Creek Park near the Ballpark in the SOMA / Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco. We’ll help you learn the basics if you are new to SUP’ing, or for more experienced paddlers we can hit the water and work on your technique and paddle power! Guided tours of the Mission Bay waterway will take us out to the World Famous McCovey Cove outside of the ballpark where the San Francisco Giants play. This is a Stand Up Paddleboarding opportunity that is like nowhere else in the world and a true hidden gem of any San Francisco experience.

Your SUP clinic and tour will start with a short land-lesson to review proper equipment use, water safety, and the basic mechanics of launching your SUP and staying balanced. More experienced paddlers can request a more advanced technique lesson as well. We’ll then walk down the boat ramp and launch in to the San Francisco Bay. Adventure Out will supply all required equipment at no additional cost (board, paddle, leash, life vest, and safety whistle).

Awesome experience paddling out of the Mission Creek all the way to the Oracle Park. Got to go under the bridges and see San Francisco from a different perspective. Great interaction with the host.

Joey was an awesome SUP guide! I appreciate his many years of board sports expertise and care and caution in safety and looking out for changing wind/water conditions. I also greatly appreciate Joey and Cliff's organized preparation, from digital paperwork to giving all the details upfront to showing up early to get everything ready to start on time. They have their sh-t together! This would be a fun team outing with colleagues as well - they said they can take ~10 people out for team outings.

Very fun! The day was beautiful with perfect weather. Our guide Joey gave us basic instruction and off we went paddling by Pacbell Park. One in our party fell in, which honestly was fun. This is a good activity for folks who are active and moderately coordinated who don’t mind possibly getting wet. It’s in a unique part of SF.
