What you'll do
Create a bouquet that is beautiful & alive with the fragrance and bloom of Paris and make a unique social & environmental contribution to this city. Come as an apprentice & leave as a florist! Marie is a passionate local florist, who founded Du Pain et Des Roses, a non-profit organisation teaching floristry to refugee women. Café Bienvenue is a social enterprise coffeeshop employing refugees & locals to work side by side making & serving delicious food & building community. Our cosy space in the heart of the marais is adorned with upcycled wooden furniture and plants from around Paris. Make yourself at home around a welcoming old round oak table and enjoy sipping on any artisanal drink from our menu, made exclusively with certified organic & fairtrade produce. Work with local, seasonal & organic flowers, grown on a farm that facilitates the professional insertion of people who have been isolated from work. Craft your bouquet & immerse yourself in Marie's stories and knowledge about each of the flowers. Participating in this experience directly supports organic, environmentally-friendly & ethical consumption in Paris, & our work to facilitate integration of refugees.
